The Evolution Series of skimmers are the first ever countercurrent downdraft design. This provides certain unique operational properties set it apart from the rest of the ETSS line. Giving your tank gentle but highly effective waste removal that will never over skim your aquarium.

Great for a mixed coral tank. It creates the finest bubble size that totally fills the skimmer body with so much air that it turns the water to a solid milk color.

The countercurrent action allows for far greater air water contact time and reduces the amount of wet foaming to a minimum. Creating a really dense waste product in a very compact space saving design.

Inlet is 3/4 inch PCV bard fitting. Outlet is 1 inch gate valve for precise skimmer adjustment. Recommended input flowrate is 500 gph.

Counter Current Downdraft Design.

True high performance UHF water filtration for smaller tanks in the 75 to 250 gallon size. With a flow rate of up to 500 GPH this a powerhouse of filtration. We can guarantee you SPS water quality in tanks up to 200 gallons.

Small size (6 1/2 long x 6 1/2 wide x 22 tall in inches) runs great with a Magdrive 9.5 pump (not included). Killer performance with the Iwaki 20 or 30 RLT external pump (not included). This wide range of pumps allows you to tailor the skimmers performance to match your tanks environment. Space saving design allows this skimmer and its pump to fit into most sumps or for even better performance in our own specially designed Reef Devil or UHF pro Sump.

Fully sealed construction allows you to use it either in the sump or in the stand. We give you the option of where to place it.

Dual Waste Collection option, allows waste collection in either the skimmer cup or in a remote container such as our Auto Waste collector (not included). Easily configured by exchanging supplied fittings. The choice is yours! Designed for long life service. These skimmers will still work as good, ten years from now, as when you first got it. Rugged construction using oversized, top quality acrylic parts.
