Many species of zooplankton from salt and fresh water can be cultivated in the plankton reactor. The zooplankton is fed with microalgae from the Plankton Light Reactor.
The zooplankton has a great growth potential: under optimal algal nutrition, the number of rotifers, (Brachionus), may double over four days. Brachionus is the ideal food for raising many marine fish larvae and invertebrates in the salt water aquarium.
Contains plankton reactor, approximately 0.65 gallon volume, wall bracket, and connections for air pump.
Dimensions - total length is 32 inches and the diameter is 3.2 inches. The hose connections are 1/4 inch. 1 per case.
